Punks Give Back
SpacePunksClub launched just over one month ago, and the team is truly humbled by the success of the project. We couldn’t have done it without each one of you! Our gift to you was adjusting the roadmap to bring your Space Dino companions into the SPC universe; we hope the stunning artwork and successful launch convey our deepest gratitude to our dedicated holders.
Now that many of our companions have been revealed, it’s time to give back to the greater community through charitable donations.
As you may be aware, we committed to donating 60 ETH from the original mint for charity. This gesture is not only the right thing to do, but also embodies the core focus of this project — community.
The SPC community grows closer every day, and our focus will remain on creating a community of people helping each other emotionally, technically and financially. In doing so, we want our community to have a voice in the donations that are made on behalf of us all. We are proposing the following strategy:
We will be donating 60 ETH (currently valued at around $200,000 USD), over a period of 12 weeks. This will be split between charities that our community (Space Punks Club members) can vote on.
We are kicking off with our first donations valued at a total of 15 ETH ($50,000 USD).
The first 3 charities that the community can choose between are outlined below. The winner of the vote will receive 4 ETH, second place will receive 3 ETH, and third place will receive 2 ETH.
However, a special 4th charity, the ‘P4 Foundation’ will be receiving 6 ETH. The Icon Jester, an SPC community member, brought this incredible cause to our attention. He has several relationships with people in the SPC community and we felt that it would only be right to give help to one of our own. More information about Jester’s story can be found at the end of this article.

STOMP Out Bullying is the leading national nonprofit dedicated to changing the culture for all students. It works to reduce and prevent bullying, cyberbullying and other digital abuse, educates against homophobia, LGBTQIA+ discrimination, racism and hatred, and deters violence in schools, online and in communities across the country. STOMP Out Bullying promotes civility, diversity, inclusion, equity and equality. It teaches effective solutions on how to respond to all forms of bullying, as well as educating kids and teens in school and online. It provides help for those in need and at risk of suicide, and raises awareness through peer mentoring programs in schools, public service announcements by noted celebrities, and social media campaigns.
Space for Humanity
Space for Humanity is organizing the planet’s first Sponsored Citizen Astronaut Program, where leaders, from any walk of life, can apply for an opportunity to go to space and experience the Overview Effect: the cognitive shift in awareness that occurs when a human being looks down on the Earth from space. Each year, a new crew is selected from a diverse group of leaders from around the globe. Upon their return, each citizen astronaut has a commitment to leveraging that experience for the collective good. Through our citizen spaceflight program, leadership training, and collaborative efforts to educate the public, we are setting the stage to create the world we want, both here on Earth and throughout the cosmos. We believe our future in space will be determined by who we resolve to be on Earth, today.
No Kid Hungry
Every kid needs three meals a day to grow up healthy, happy and strong. But today in America, too many children are missing those meals. The good news? This is a problem we know how to solve. Here’s how No Kid Hungry is helping communities feed children.
- Schools Meals: Schools are at the center of our work — community centers trusted by parents and staffed by people who know the children by name and care about them. At school, kids can get the healthy food they need — for every meal of the day.
- Grants: We distribute grants to schools, food banks and community groups across the nation to help them get what they need to feed kids, from meal carts to refrigerators to delivery trucks.
- Advocacy: We work with national, state and local elected leaders on both sides of the aisle, fighting for policies that help families make ends meet — from expanding food assistance programs to cutting through red tape to help feed children during the pandemic.
- Awareness: We work with celebrities, chefs, news media and major companies to make sure everyone sees the crisis of the childhood hunger in the United States — and knows what they can do to help end it.
- Research & Policy: Knowing what has worked in one community can be helpful elsewhere. No id Hungry provides experts, research, tools and training to help people across the country feed children.
- Early Childhood: Babies and little kids need healthy food for a strong start to their lives. We help parents and caregivers with young children, especially families that may be struggling to make ends meet.
Jester’s son, Anderson, was unfortunately diagnosed with a medulloblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor that he underwent surgery for when he was 5, and for which he is still undergoing treatment. The P4 Foundation (Pray4 Foundation) works directly with children and families impacted by childhood cancer and provides support before, during, and after treatment. They have also partnered with the Nerdy Nuggets project, another NFT project designed by two children (10 and 7 years old) to help bring attention to childhood cancer. Nerdy Nuggets will donate 20% of their mint sales to the P4 Foundation in the hopes of tackling childhood cancer. We believe that making a real difference in the world is paramount to our mission as Space Punks and we will continue to support foundations, projects, and initiatives, such as the P4 Foundation and Nerdy Nuggets, which really make a difference to those in need.

Note: We are accepting charity recommendations from the community, however they need to accept ETH — please ensure that they allow that before offering a suggestion. We’ve spent a lot of time researching the above list and will continue to ensure that the charities put forward by the team are reputable and accept crypto.
